GSK Production System (GPS) practitioner (lean practitioner)

The GSK Production System (GPS) is a standardised way of workingto develop and improve our people, processes and performance.  It’s the way we will work and behave to drive towards our strategy of Zero Accidents, Zero Defects and Zero Waste, and allows us to focus on continually improving the things that matter to the person at the end of the supply chain.

GPS is a continuous improvement system which means we will move from being reactive and fire fighting to being proactive by helping people solve the top three priority problems in each area and level every day.  It’s a common set of simple standards, and a way of working that together means we work better and easier, and we are all doing the same thing and applying the same standards to our manufacturing processes across all our supply chains

The GPS Practitioner is responsible for deploying GPS across all of our manufacturing sites.  GPS Practitioners work at a manufacturing site as part of a small team to deploy and embed the GPS, and will work across multiples departments simultaneously including production, laboratories, technical and engineering.
