What makes you, you?

Rowing was my sport at college. That takes determination and teamwork – qualities I’ve brought to my work.

What’s the best thing about working here?

We’re united in focusing on patients. They’re the purpose for what we do. We don’t just work for the business – we’re here to provide something beneficial to customers.

What are your highlights?

I joined the Esprit commercial MBA development programme after graduating from Harvard. Since then, I’ve had roles in Singapore, Mexico, Philippines and London. Each has given me the chance to build on the skills I gained at business school and learn about leadership in many different cultures. I now look after the dermatology business in Malaysia. This is the perfect operations role for me. I wanted to use my leadership skills and have a direct and positive impact on how the dermatology business performs.

How have we supported your development?

Esprit was tailored to my specific needs and what I wanted to do. During the annual development week, you can interact with senior leaders and find out about the future of the organisation. Leaders are also happy to sit down with you and help you with your development.

What would you say to someone thinking of joining us?

You should be prepared to move out of your comfort zone and take on tasks that will help develop you as a leader.
