Postgraduates Esprit commercial programme
The four-year rotational programme offers opportunities for the individuals to develop through real work, driving growth in our global business, whilst making differences to patients and consumers. Depending on your interest and experience, our programmes focus on traditional pharmaceutical, vaccines or consumer healthcare.
In return for strong performance, dedication and commitment the Esprit tailored programme enables high-potential people to develop their knowledge and broaden their global business perspective. You'll take on a series of stretching commercial management roles, both within your home region and international markets. These involve management at a national or regional level and usually will include sales, marketing, and roles tailored to fulfil your long term career goals.
Esprit commercial is a truly global programme, with at least one international rotation. You’ll work where you're most needed, gaining the best knowledge and experience for your development. So you could find yourself anywhere from Africa to Australia, Chile to China, Europe to the US.

Challenging rotations doing real work will help you understand commercial excellence and give you true business responsibility. You’ll have all the guidance you need through your line manager , as well as a dedicated mentor, networking including regular exposure to senior management, and one-to-one coaching to support your development as a business leader. In addition there’s more formal training including a Development Week- where everyone on the programme comes together each year for an intensive week of learning.
The program is a career differentiator for program members. Members who have a high level of success on the program and are recognized for their contributions are well positioned to accelerate their careers in the commercial function within GSK.
