Crisis are the national charity for homeless people and are determined to end homelessness. They do this through education, training and support with housing, employment and health. They also carry out pioneering research into the causes and consequences or homelessness and campaign for the changes needed to end it, for good.
We are proud to have partnered with and supported Crisis for over 25 years – working together to help end homelessness. Our funding supports their health and wellbeing services across their Skylight centres.
Being homeless can be devastating on mental and physical health. Crisis are helping to rebuild people who are homelessness and their health and wellbeing through classes, social activities and advice on mental health and emotional wellbeing. This can be through one-to-one mental health coaching, drop-in opticians’ services and support accessing GPs.
Each year, hundreds of GSK employees volunteer for Crisis – supporting their members into full time work through their Employment Platforms, volunteering as classroom assistants on Crisis courses and facilitating their annual Crisis at Christmas centres.
